We quote based on the information that you provide us. Certain features that people ask for are highly labour intensive and can add significant costs to the cake. Our design process is highly customised so it is essential that we know your budget for the cake prior to discussing ideas for a design. this way we can guide you on how to acheive the look you desire within the budget you have.

3-D SCULPTED CAKES
Our 3-D Sculpted cakes have a $500 minimum order. They are labor intensive and often require additional supporting structure. 3-D Sculpted cakes are priced by the project, not by the serving, and is determined by the cake designer’s labour charge.
More complex sculpting work will be priced higher. With sculpted cakes, please keep in mind that the amount of servings needed is often determined by the type of object. For example, we won’t make a car cake for less than 25 servings because we need the servings to carry out the shape.
2-D SCULPTED CAKES
2-D Sculpted cakes lie flat on the cake board, and are generally less expensive than a 3-D cake. 2-D cakes have a $300 mininum and like 3-D cakes, they are priced by the project and determined by the designer’s labor charge.
SWEET & SIMPLE RANGE
We also offer a range of cakes for that allow for a limited amount of customisation without the cost of a full custom designed cake.
Our Sweet & Simple Range offer a choice of Chocolate or Vaniulla buttercake beautifully decorated with any colour buttercream icing. The cake is topped with a fully customised printed edible image.
Our Sweet & Simple prices are;
Round
8" - $70 - serves 20 dessert or 40 coffee sized portions.
9" - $80 - serves 25 dessert or 50 coffee sized portions.
10"- $90 - serves 35 dessert or 70 coffee sized portions.
Square
8" - $80 - serves 25 dessert or 50 coffee sized portions.
9" - $90 - serves 30 dessert or 60 coffee sized portions.
10"- $100 - serves 40 dessert or 80 coffee sized portions.
DELIVERY
We offer a delivery option for all our cakes. Prices for delivery start at $80 but are determined by the size and complexity of the cake design, transport requirements and the number of staff required.
Cakes delivered by Bay City Cakes will be unpacked and arranged in place at your venue by our staff. We will liaise with your venue to ensure the cake is in place at the best time to avoid unessary moving and handling.
Although we deliver to the Gold Coat, Sunshine Coast, Towoomba and everywhere in between, it can be quite expensive to deliver a wedding cake to these locations. We can assist you in packaging cakes for long road trips so you can pick it up from our studio and take it to the venue yourself. Bay City Cakes does not guarantee the safety of any cake we don’t personally deliver and unpack..

TASTING BOX
Bay city Cakes offers our clients the opportunity to sample our high quality cakes.
Each Tasting Box contains five cupcake size portions of different cake samples individually ganached with the flavour of your choice. A delicious way to decide on the perfect flavour combination for your special day.
Cost per Tasting Box is $25 which will be fully reimbursed on any subsequent cake order over the value of $300 .
